Sabbadius introduces the Funky-Vibe ST, a modern take on the legendary Uni-Vibe, now housed in a more compact enclosure without sacrificing the tone, depth, or feel of the original large-box models.
Built with all-analog circuitry, custom 7 mm CdS/LDR photocells, and the same meticulous hand-wiring found in Sabbadius’ full-size Funky-Vibe, the ST delivers lush, three-dimensional modulation in both Chorus and Vibrato modes.
The Cancel footswitch lets you bypass the modulation section and keep the warm, vintage preamp engaged, while an expression pedal input allows real-time control of the Speed parameter.
Powered by standard 18V DC, the Funky-Vibe ST works anywhere in the world with a suitable pedal power supply.
1969 Funky-Vibe ST
The 1969 version takes its inspiration from later Shin-ei Uni-Vibe units, which offered a smoother, rounder, and more vocal modulation character. With a slightly slower top speed than the ’68 model, the ’69 is ideal for fluid, soulful leads and atmospheric textures, recalling the tones of David Gilmour and Robin Trower.
